We are going to restart Shabbat Club. This program started in 2010 with the help of Rhoda Langstein, Esther Schwegman,  and Cyndi Silverman. The goals are to keep the younger children engaged in Shabbat appropriate activities in the library keeping them safe and providing them a chance to bond with other Jewish children of the congregation.

It only takes 45-60 minutes each Shabbat. Volunteers have time to eat lunch (as do the children) after services and then come into the library. There are multiple games and toys available; the kids only require supervision or sometimes a game partner. Once in the library they must stay until their parents come for them. If they want to return to the social hall – an adult will accompany the child for safety reasons.
