Jaqui Wadsworth, Executive Director

ExecutiveDirector@cbsclearwater.org
Jaqui Wadsworth, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, joined the Congregation Beth Shalom team in May of 2022 after serving as Director of Congregational Engagement at Temple Beth-El in Great Neck, New York.
Jaqui earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Judaic Studies from the University of Arizona and upon graduation made aliyah. During her four years in Jerusalem, she explored the land, history and culture while immersing herself into day-to-day Israeli life. It was during that time Jaqui learned to speak Hebrew and worked at various jobs; feel free to ask her more about her time in Israel!
Returning to the states in the Fall of 2014, Jaqui quickly began her career in the Jewish non-profit world, first serving as a Regional Director for BBYO and then as Membership Accounts Coordinator at Congregation Beth El in Berkeley, California.
In 2018 Jaqui and her husband, Nick, moved to New York from California. It was here that Jaqui served as Director of Congregational Engagement and was part of UJA Federation of New York's professional development cohort for young Jewish professionals, YESH. She completed courses on challenging conversations, self-advocacy, budgeting and fundraising.
In October 2020 Jaqui and Nick got married on Florida's own Anna Maria Island, and the following year, in October 2021, they welcomed their son, Parker, into the world.
In her free time, Jaqui loves being a mom and wife!
