What is Thursday Theater Club at Kehillah Academy?

Embark on a theatrical journey of self-discovery and character exploration with our exciting new Jewish theatre club, open to Jewish students across the county, housed at Congregation Beth Shalom! Designed for students in grades 2-5 and 6-8, this engaging program invites participants to delve into the rich tapestry of Jewish values.

Students will play, learn and grow through Jewish spiritual practices that gives concrete instructions on how to live a meaningful and ethical life. Through dynamic exercises and interactive activities, students will have the opportunity to embody and express these fundamental soul traits in a playful theatrical context.

Guided by experienced instructors, participants will learn the art of character creation, storytelling, and performance in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Each session, held on Thursdays from November 7th to December 19th, will empower students to cultivate empathy, integrity, and resilience while honing their acting skills.
